All over the Ozarks - and much of the United States - we are watching the sky in hopes that we will get more much needed rainfall. In the meantime, everyone should continue to water as needed.
Of course you should be especially vigilant in monitoring those newly planted items! Things may be looking a little unkempt in your garden and landscape plantings at this point, but taking the time to deadhead and cut back will insure new blooms and fresh growth. (If you haven't already staked your tall bloomers - now is the the time to take care of that too.)
